About the role
- Develop positive relationships with Equity Compensation clients and build internal working relationships with Fidelity personnel in support of service delivery
- Overall accountability for the relationship of a book of institutional equity compensation plan clients
- Cultivate relationships with key decision makers, guide service teams towards high client satisfaction, drive operational effectiveness and plan profitability
- Grow client relationships through value-driven cross selling initiatives, and strategically position Fidelity's products and services
- Focus on client retention and loyalty, relationship risk mitigation strategies, revenue growth, and product and services adoption
- Provide focused leadership, motivation, and support for client service team members to retain clients and deliver consistency and alignment in execution of client objectives and Fidelity priorities
- Ensure client satisfaction by seeking feedback and anticipate issues and/or concerns to proactively provide solutions
- Lead client profitability through periodic evaluations of key revenue and expense metrics and implement proactive steps towards desired results
- Develop a strategy and negotiate contract renewals, including collaboration with other business partners across Fidelity
- Work with business partners to develop programs to increase households and conversions, and facilitate continued advanced education and communication for participants and clients
- Provide each client with a formal plan review, addressing client needs and opportunities for enhanced service
- Procure a detailed understanding of all types of equity compensation plans and work consultatively with clients to assist them towards industry leading practices
- Support client needs to facilitate corporate actions including mergers, acquisitions, splits, divestitures, spin-offs and other major corporate activities
Requirements
- College degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience
- Ability to acquire Series 7 & 63/65 within the first three months of employment
- Bring 10+ years of Relationship Management or Client Service experience; preferably within Equity Compensation/Retirement/401K industry
- Transparent and credible presence in the Equity Compensation industry
- Certified Equity Professional designation is helpful
- Provide a strategic perspective on comprehensive employee benefit solutions for large corporations
- Well-developed communication, project management, consulting, and leadership skills
- Ability to successfully work in a matrix management environment
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships across multiple client constituencies including HR, Total Rewards, Compensation, Treasury, Legal, and Procurement
- Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities
- Effective presentation skills, influence, and negotiation skills
