About the role
- Solve Fidelity Workplace Investing clients’ and prospective clients’ most complicated requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with Account Executives, Retention Executives, and Managing Directors to win and retain large corporate and TEM NonQualified Plan clients
- Perform comprehensive analysis of client NonQualified plan requirements and compare plan document provisions against product and services
- Problem solve for unique plan features and represent the Fidelity solution during the sales or rebid process
- Strategically coordinate with clients and their consultants and collaborate with internal business partners
- Review and lead plan design, underwriting of legal plan documents, and identify non-standard product and service requirements
- Develop creative solutions, understand financial and operational impacts, and own internal exception approval process steps
- Provide subject matter expertise on retirement and benefit issues during sales and rebid processes
- Present Fidelity’s differentiation via proposal responses and high-impact presentations; coach team members for presentations
- Provide real time market feedback to product, systems, and marketing organizations
Requirements
- Defined Contribution and NonQualified plan expertise required
- Bachelor's degree, minimum; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years related product/industry experience
- 5+ years of Fidelity experience desirable
- Series 7 and 63 required (can be acquired in role)
- Approximately 50%+ travel requirement
- Leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, displaying Fidelity’s core values
- Internal influence skills including organizational navigation and perspective, knowledge of exception processing
- Strong client-facing consultation skills to understand needs, influence, and articulate value vs. risk/reward
- Strong presentation skills at all levels; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Fidelity’s DC and NonQualified Plan products, services and processes
- Industry/competitor knowledge and ongoing student of the business
