About the role
- Build and inspire a high-performance national sales team
- Secure and grow retail partnerships across convenience, smoke shops, specialty retailers, and more
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in new territories, product launches, and strategic partnerships
- Implement scalable sales systems—from hiring and onboarding to processes, metrics, and forecasting
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product
- Leverage data and CRM tools to track performance, uncover trends, and drive revenue growth
- Represent The Pack Labs externally at events and industry meetings
- Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership, including 3–5+ years at the VP or senior director level
- Experience in highly regulated industries (CPG, cannabis/hemp, vape, alcohol, nutraceuticals, etc.)
- Proven track record of growing companies from small-scale to significant revenue growth
- Built and implemented sales playbooks, compensation plans, and CRM systems
- Strong financial and analytical management, forecasting, pipeline management, full sales P&L ownership
- Leverages data and KPIs to develop actionable strategies
- Strong background in distributor and retail network management, including DSD, regional, and national accounts
- Successfully executed and negotiated transformative distributor and retail partnerships
- Proven track record of hiring, leading, and retaining high-performing sales teams
- Proven ability to lead and deliver results in high-pressure, fast-changing, and uncertain environments
