Embedded AMEA Intelligence Analyst role for a global construction client
Based in the client’s Anticipation & Analysis security team, contributing to international geopolitical and security analysis, risk assessments and advisory services
Provide tailored tactical and strategic intelligence analysis and consulting to the client
Monitor, analyse and advise on adverse developments in AMEA that could affect safety, security, operational continuity and reputation (political instability, unrest, crime, terrorism, governance risks, cyber threats)
Monitor online sources and utilise open sources and vendor feeds to create tailored, actionable insights and recommendations
Deliver regular intelligence products forecasting tactical and strategic risks and provide ad hoc geopolitical analysis in response to world events
Brief executives on key developments, trends and content and provide situational updates to senior stakeholders during incidents/crises
Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and support the client’s security team in producing and editing regular and ad hoc products, including Threat and Risk Assessment Reviews
Support with due diligence investigations as required
Fully remote role with core Monday–Friday hours and occasional out-of-hours work for emergencies and time-sensitive matters
Requirements
Experience, knowledge and interest in current affairs, international relations and emerging security threats
Expertise in political and security dynamics in AMEA, particularly Western Africa, Northern Africa, Lebanon, Iraq, Bangladesh and the Philippines
Must have regional language skills (Arabic and/or French)
Experience working in a corporate security setting or similar public or private sector environments
Ability to research and sift through large amounts of information to produce concise, insightful and actionable analysis under tight deadlines
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple scheduled tasks, requests and sources of information with minimal guidance
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent English written and spoken communication skills, with high attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities
Deep interest and broad understanding of world affairs
Must have the right to work in the UK
Nice to have: Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience
Nice to have: Previous exposure to corporate security teams
