• Management of the annual, integrated legacy giving/bequest marketing campaigns (print, social media advertising, DRTV – Direct Response TV, events, SEA (Search Engine Advertising), SEO, etc.) including strategy, budgeting, coordination of agencies, review of proposals and creative materials, and preparation of decision-making
• Contribute to the strategic development of the online presence and digital donor communications in the area of legacy giving
• Plan, implement, evaluate and refine target-group appropriate measures in social media, landing pages, video, email and direct marketing
• Oversee digital community management

• Support the organization and execution of events (digital and in-person)
• Coordinate internal interfaces and external service providers

Marketing Manager – Legacy Giving (m/f/d)

Manager

• Prepare project budgets based on program concepts for our German projects
• Manage and monitor the use of funds (public and private)
• Prepare and review fund disbursement requests (drawdowns)
• Prepare interim and final reports
• Review travel expense reports and invoices
• Review fee, grant and cooperation agreements and contribute to the financial-relevant sections: fund disbursement procedures, templates, deadlines
• Monitor and control financial reports and fund drawdowns from partner organisations and grant recipients
• Maintain databases by recording and updating project data, fund disbursements, and contract data
• Track donor guidelines for public (e.g., EU or AMIF) and private grants, as well as other standards regarding grant law, the German Federal Budget Code (Bundeshaushaltsordnung), expenditure deadlines, procurement rules, etc.

Manager, Project Finance — German Programs (m/f/d)

• Making telephone calls to donors and supporters as part of campaigns, e.g. informational campaigns about legacy donations, donor acquisition or donation increases
• No cold calling – we only call people who already know and/or support us
• Providing targeted information about the work of Save the Children
• Recording conversation- and donation-related data digitally
• Participating in regular workshops to optimize telefundraising
• Working in our Berlin office

Telemarketing Staff, m/f/d

• Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of brand awareness campaigns, including strategic media planning and operational execution
• Coordinate and manage donated ad placements and secure pro bono media placements
• Support events and partnerships with external partners to increase Save the Children’s visibility
• Conceptualize, develop and manage brand materials
• Support brand positioning in Germany and assist with the management and analysis of market research studies
• Advise internal teams on brand-related matters and contribute to brand training
