General Counsel

• Key legal partner to the global M&A, divestment and BD&L teams (Biopharma and Small Molecule), providing strategic legal advice to drive successful dealmaking in the interests of Sandoz
• Independently lead global transactions, bringing specific transactional legal expertise to drafting and negotiations and in the provision of practical, relevant legal advice
• Demonstrate agility in leading different types of transactions across diverse geographies and across different stages of transactions, from internal coordination on DD and structuring advice through to post-closing and integration/separation or alliance management matters, including efficiently managing disputes
• Lead negotiations and drafting with and without external counsel support, in close alignment with key business partners
• Assess, identify and communicate material risks and recommendations to mitigate in a pragmatic, business-orientated way and proactively implement solutions where appropriate
• Ensure a close coordination between Legal (in-house and external counsel) and key stakeholders, including collaborating with experts across all relevant functions as well as with regions/countries to drive consistency and efficiency across Sandoz
• Monitor and manage external counsel appropriately, properly allocating work between internal and external and actively managing legal spend
• Manage workload and prioritize appropriately with manager support, in close alignment with Sandoz’s risks and opportunities, including simplifying processes and practices where appropriate

Legal Counsel, Global Transactions

Security Engineer

• Lead the strategic development, design and implementation of the Sandoz global protective physical security systems to safeguard Sandoz’s people, assets, and operations.
• Reporting to the Global Head of Security & Investigations, accountabilities will be relating to a wide variety of physical security issues, including establishment of physical / technical security global standards, security design, project management, physical access controls, alarms and alarm monitoring, as well as CCTV.
• Management of Global Physical Access Management (GPAM) program forming part of Protective Security applications across Commercial Operations, Sandoz Technical Organization (STO) and Laboratories.
• Integration with central access systems located in the global Security Operations Center.
• Support the implementation of an integrated framework for physical security through strong collaboration and cooperation with Real Estate Workplace and Mobility (REWaM), STO Engineering and Information Technology departments.
• Continuous improvement through evaluation, review and publication of global standards related to design and support physical security protective systems to ensure innovation and use of emerging technologies.
• Physical security risk mitigation and auditing to identify, report risks and help develop recommendations to further protect the business.
• Ensure program compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22341), EU directives, CER / NIS2, and internal governance frameworks.
• Subject matter support for the Corporate Security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management teams.

Global Head – Protective Security

Procurement

• Partner with Contract Managers to implement Sandoz commercial contracts in Scout and Model N, including loading pricing and Managed Care agreements.
• Collaborate with Chargebacks, Membership, Sales, Contract Managers, and other internal stakeholders to resolve pricing and chargeback discrepancies.
• Support Franchise Leads by managing daily open order reports
• Act as SCOUT SME for the Contracts team: o Test IT-developed solutions in the DEV environment o Monitor the SCOUT Contracting interface o Troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders o Lead SCOUT training for Contracts team o Run SCOUT based reports, including monthly contracting activity report and contract expiration report
• Develop and manage Contracts Team KPIs, leveraging SCOUT data to measure contracting volume patterns
• Own the product change notification process within SCOUT, ensuring timely updates and cross-functional communication
• Support interface management between SCOUT, Model N, SAP, and Salesforce to ensure contract data integrity and alignment
• Utilize advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint to analyze contract data, prepare executive summaries, and support strategic decision-making

Contract Management – Operations

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive and manage projects that shape the future of Procurement, including transformation programs and capability-building efforts.
• Procurement Academy 2.0: Design and implement a global learning and development framework to upskill procurement teams, including defining competency models and supporting talent development and succession planning.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies within Procurement, including opportunities to unlock additional value through our supplier ecosystem.
• Risk Management & Resilience: Contribute to supplier risk assessments and contingency planning, and help design strategies for supply chain resilience.

Director, Launch IHC Pricing

Supply Chain

• Lead the governance of Supply Chain interactions with third-party organizations across Sandoz ESO suppliers through projects to maximize optimize supply chain set ups and value creation between the parties.
• Drive enterprise-wide assessment of supply chain performance and capabilities to cover market needs in line with the Sandoz strategy.
• Develop the “Demand & Supply Plan” for the tactical horizon (3/4 to 24-36 months) ensuring adequate balancing between supply and demand.
• Support and collaborate with SRMs and ESO Regional SCM Lead to establish optimal Supply Plan and monitor deviations versus budget.
• Work with the SC team in establishing required supply models based on supplier, portfolio, demand mix and optimize key supply chain processes.
• Support the ESO SCM Head for effective deployment into Region of supply chain processes including innovative planning models.
