About the role
- Lead a high-performing recruiting team: Hire, develop, and lead a team of high performing managers, and individual contributors across full-cycle recruiting and sourcing. Embody our Samsara Leadership principles.
- Partner on departmental talent strategy: Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on market trends, compensation insights, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize data to drive decision making: Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders to improve hiring outcomes.
- Inspire operational excellence: Establish KPI’s focusing on headcount goal, time-to-fill, quality of hire, diversity, and cost efficiency.
- Drive diversity initiatives for the company & execute on hiring goals: Execute on quarterly hiring goals with a focus on acquiring top diverse talent to meet our current and future hiring needs.
- Be a culture champion: Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s values and operating principles as we scale globally and across new offices.
- Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of experience in sales recruiting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a high volume sales recruiting team.
- Strong understanding of GTM organizations and various sales methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience scaling up high performing quota-carrying teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging data-driven insights to drive recruiting strategy and decision-making.
- Commitment to Samsara’s core values, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in executive hiring practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
