About the role
- Lead the strategy and evolution of Salesforce and connected GTM systems, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Partner with Sales Leadership, RevOps, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into system designs, enhancements, and tools that drive seller productivity and revenue growth.
- Intake, assess, and prioritize requests based on effort vs. impact to build and execute a long-term roadmap for systems and tools.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of initiatives, including requirements gathering, configuration/build, UAT testing, release management, and change communications.
- Establish KPIs and operational measurements for system health, tool adoption, and seller effectiveness, using data insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that system decisions and tool investments maximize ROI and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of administrators and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
- Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the organization scales.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related GTM operations roles, with at least 3+ years managing teams.
- Proven experience administering and optimizing Salesforce CRM in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of sales technology ecosystems (CPQ, sales engagement, forecasting, analytics).
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects with competing priorities.
- Proven track record managing people directly (2–5+ reports, sometimes including a manager underneath).
- Ability to coach and develop talent, delegate effectively, and manage workloads across others.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional partners and provide clear updates to senior leaders.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Smartsheet.
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
- Salesforce CPQ experience (ideal).
- Experience leading governance, vendor management, or tool evaluation processes (ideal).
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or security best practices in enterprise SaaS environments (ideal).
- Candidates must reside in the US (excluding San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area).
