About the role
- Partner with stakeholders, business SMEs, vendors, and technology teams to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and implementation goals.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis, process flows, and solution design for new initiatives and system enhancements.
- Oversee project execution from initiation through post-implementation, managing deliverables, dependencies, risks, and resource alignment.
- Track and manage tasks in project management software using Agile methodology, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
- Own communications for assigned projects, including updates, risks, timelines, and key decisions.
- Develop and deliver training materials and communications for system and process changes.
- Create test plans, scripts, and manage UAT, ensuring quality delivery prior to roll-out.
- Monitor system performance and end-user feedback, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and revenue growth.
Requirements
- Contract position – 1099 only
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of combined Business Analysis and Project Management experience leading large-scale initiatives
- Financial services or mortgage industry experience (HELOC, Non-QM a plus)
- POS system experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance Testing, including UAT leadership
- Experience with Loan Origination Systems (Ellie Mae Encompass a plus)
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or comparable)
- Proficiency with project management tools (Asana or similar)
- Strong foundation in Project Management Methodologies (Agile required)
- PMP, CSM, or other PM certifications a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)
- Adaptability and comfort navigating ambiguity while driving clarity and execution
