About the role
- Advance Samsara's data-driven efforts in sales, marketing, and customer success by designing and delivering impactful BI solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable BI solutions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for stakeholders across Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM Analytics, Salesforce dashboards, and other business intelligence tools to deliver actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Build AI-enriched Salesforce CRM Analytics dashboards, Salesforce reports, and data integration pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and address key business challenges through data analysis and dashboard development.
- Support data strategy initiatives by integrating and optimizing data from multiple sources for a unified view of performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development of predictive models and analytics, such as sales performance dashboards and pipeline forecasting tools.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the organization.
- Mentor junior analysts and share best practices in BI development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in designing and managing Tableau dashboards and Salesforce Analytics tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualization, and dashboard development.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- A collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally to solve complex business problems.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s of science degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar.
- Preferred: Advanced Salesforce CRM Analytics Skills (CRM Analytics/Revenue Intelligence) for data preparation, automation, and dashboard management.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data structures, reporting, and integration with BI tools.
- Preferred: ETL experience and proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load tools and processes.
- Preferred: Domain knowledge in the technology or SaaS industries, focused on sales or marketing analytics.
- Location requirement: Must reside in the United States (except candidates residing in the San Francisco Bay Metropolitan Area, the New York City Metropolitan Area, or the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area).
