About the role

  • At Blackline Safety, pioneers in connected safety technology combining hardware-enabled SaaS, IoT, and data analytics to improve workplace safety.
  • Refine Go To Market processes to optimize Sales Velocity, Revenue Potential, and Customer Retention.
  • Define, build, and maintain various data products and automations using tools such as Power BI, HubSpot, and Excel.
  • Design and build controls in reporting and visualization tools to reduce revenue leakage and discrepancies.
  • Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Design and develop end-to-end BI solutions, from back-end components to front-end user experience using Power BI.
  • Assist the business in identifying measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive decisions.
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and timelines.
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze performance of Go To Market functions to identify drivers and support stakeholders in meeting goals.
  • Analyze datasets to provide statistics and benchmarks for understanding business trajectory and areas for improvement.
  • Own the end-to-end commissions process from design to execution.
  • Work with Go To Market leaders to quantify market opportunities, allocate resources, and manage sales campaigns.
  • Drive annual sales planning including account tiering, assignment, quota development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Go To Market leaders and Finance for cross-functional alignment on Revenue Reporting and Forecasting.
  • Work cross-functionally on strategic initiatives as they arise.

  • Proven experience in implementing and optimizing visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven experience in implementing and optimizing CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proven experience building financial and economic models to evaluate strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience defining, building, and maintaining sales commissions plans.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in revenue operations.
  • Proven experience identifying and implementing tools and technologies to streamline processes & reporting and reduce manual efforts.
  • Strong project management mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Data Analytics, or FP&A with focus on supporting GTM functions.
  • 5 years of experience with data modeling for reporting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Data Analysis and Financial Modelling.
  • Previous Power BI experience considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with SQL considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with an ETL tool considered an asset.
  • Previous HubSpot experience considered an asset.
  • Experience with architecture, administration, and troubleshooting in Microsoft-based infrastructure and productivity environments.
  • Comfort troubleshooting and fixing performance issues related to visualization delivery.
  • Experience with scoping and implementing business needs.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to overall business strategy.
