About the role
- Own and execute a portfolio of renewal contracts in an assigned territory
- Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for small, medium and large account contract renewals
- Maximize account growth by identifying incremental opportunities upon contract renewal and playing an active role on the account team
- Drive and manage the renewals process in collaboration with the account team
- Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence, Pricing, Product Management, Customer Success, and Account Executives to develop comprehensive renewal strategies
- Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and drive renewals to on-time closure
- Provide executive management visibility to renewals and solicit executive involvement as required
- Maintain a rolling 120 day forecast of territory and communicate renewal risks
- Follow internal best practices including Opportunity Management, Data Quality, Quotations and Forecasting
- Achieve financial and strategic targets for minimizing attrition and boosting incremental revenue via up-sells, cross-sells and add-ons
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in Sales, Operations, Account Management
- Strong customer management and negotiation skills
- Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset to enable persuasive value conversations with customers at an executive level
- Strong process management and financial acumen
- Ability to apply strict policies and react/adapt to rapid shifts in priorities and organizational policies
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of salesforce.com product and platform features, capabilities, and best practices (desired)
- Experience with an enterprise CRM or customer service application (desired)
- Experience negotiating complex multi-year services contracts (desired)
- Ability to manage transactions through every stage of the renewal cycle (desired)
