About the role
- Drive revenue growth through understanding client needs and responding to emerging market challenges.
- Develop and implement product commercialization effort, including pricing and packaging in collaboration with Commercial partners.
- Maintain and communicate ongoing solution and market readiness status.
- Ability to articulate (and train colleagues) product positioning to a financial business audience and create broad solution stories for C-suite.
- Create processes to fast-track sales enablement structure with CI’s Commercial and CX teams.
- Stay abreast of latest developments, trends, and regulatory changes in the financial industry.
- Drive high-touch customer focus / advisory user groups to identify current and future business needs in the financial segment.
- Manage financial performance to drive growth and work cross-functionally to remediate under-performance.
- Provide action items to senior team within the segment and promote collaboration across S&P Global to deliver superior customer experiences.
- Work with Product Management to prioritize product development roadmaps based on opportunity size, expected revenue uplift, and available resources.
Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in business development, product, commercial, and/or strategic leadership roles related to positioning data/insights/analytic products (preferably S&P Global products) into the Financial community/segment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Pragmatic Marketing trained/certified or equivalent a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in disparate business lines.
- Understanding of CI and MI sales processes.
- Indefinite right to work in the United States required.
