About the role
- Lead definition and commercial delivery of solutions from the "Energy Transition into Financials" strategic project in Commodity Insights.
- Develop market penetration strategies to position Energy Transition products for Financial clients.
- Implement commercialization strategies based on validated market research to deliver comprehensive solutions to the financial market.
- Collaborate with Commercial partners to create pricing and packaging.
- Maintain and communicate ongoing solution and market readiness status.
- Articulate and train colleagues on product positioning to financial business audiences.
- Create broad solution stories for C-suite with Product Marketing.
- Create processes to fast-track sales enablement with CI’s Commercial and CX teams.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes in the financial industry.
- Drive high-touch customer focus/user groups to identify current and future needs in financial segment.
- Manage financial performance to drive growth and remediate under-performance across functions.
- Work with Product Management to prioritize product development roadmaps based on opportunity size, expected revenue uplift, and available resources.
Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in business development, product, commercial, and/or strategic leadership roles related to positioning data/insights/analytic products (preferably S&P Global products) into the Financial community/segment.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Pragmatic Marketing trained/certified or equivalent a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in disparate business lines.
- Understanding of CI and MI sales processes.
