About the role

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Global Insights business line in EMEA and North America to achieve revenue targets and drive market share growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions that leverage S&P Global's capabilities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate with product management, marketing, and research teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market demands.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform strategic decisions and identify new business opportunities.
  • Sales Methodology Innovation: Drive the adoption of innovative sales methodologies and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the sales team.
  • Performance Reporting: Report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within financial services, data analytics, or market intelligence sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and driving revenue growth in EMEA and North America.
  • Strong understanding of the Global Insights market and the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales initiatives.
