About the role
- Define and own the overall marketing strategy for both PLG and sales-led growth.
- Build the marketing function from the ground up, including demand generation, developer marketing, and partner marketing.
- Drive acquisition and engagement for our self-serve motion.
- Craft clear, compelling developer communications, content, and campaigns that resonate with technical users.
- Optimize funnel performance through signal stacking and experimentation.
- Partner closely with Sales to fuel pipeline generation.
- Build scalable playbooks for ABM, events, and campaigns targeting enterprise buyers.
- Position RunPod as the go-to platform for developers and companies building with AI.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with ecosystems, communities, and key platforms.
- Amplify RunPod’s presence through thought leadership, events, and strategic collaborations.
Requirements
- 6+ years in marketing with at least 2+ years in a leadership role at a high-growth tech startup.
- PLG expertise: Proven track record of growing a self-serve product, ideally in developer tools, infrastructure, or SaaS.
- Sales enablement: Experience supporting a sales-led motion in parallel with PLG.
- Developer-first mindset: Ability to communicate authentically with developers through content, community, and partnerships.
- Go-to-market creativity: Comfort with testing new channels, storytelling approaches, and growth strategies.
- Builder mentality: Excited to own strategy and execution in a lean, fast-moving startup.
- Successful completion of a background check.
