Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager – Product & Platform Delivery

• Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for shipping new features and improving Runpod’s customer experience across console, APIs, and developer workflows. Ensure predictable, high-velocity execution.
• Partner with Program management, Product and GTM to shape strategy, define quarterly goals, and convert requirements into clear technical scopes, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

• Ensure engineering work aligns to user impact and business value. Constantly leverage customer insights, product analytics, and operational data to refine priorities.
• Balance speed and reliability by improving automated testing, staging/preview environments, observability for product surfaces, and regression prevention.
• Provide architectural oversight for product systems (backend services, APIs, user workflows, integrations), ensuring scalability and coherence without bottlenecking teams.

• Partner with brand and demand gen teams to ensure messaging consistency across all channels (web, docs, sales, community).
• Own the creation of long-form, technical content that educates prospects and accelerates buying decisions—including comparison guides, technical explainers, ROI frameworks, use case deep-dives, architecture guides, and competitive analyses.
• Develop and execute an SEO/GEO-driven content strategy that captures high-intent search traffic, ranks for critical buying keywords, and drives qualified inbound pipeline.
• Analyze content performance (engagement, conversion, pipeline influence, organic traffic, keyword rankings) and iterate on formats, topics, and distribution strategies.
• Build a repeatable, AI-assisted content creation process that can scale as the team grows, including templates, briefs, and quality standards.
• Lead GTM strategy for all major product launches, pricing changes, and market expansions, from concept through launch and post-launch optimization.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, and sales to ensure coordinated, high-impact launches.
• Own competitive intelligence: track the neocloud market landscape, synthesize insights, and translate them into actionable GTM strategies and content.

Account Executive

• Prospect, qualify, and acquire new enterprise and strategic customers such as AI startups, research institutions, and ML teams in large organizations through a combination of outbound outreach and inbound lead engagement.
• Drive full-cycle sales from lead generation, discovery, proposal, negotiation, to close.
• Partner with forward deployed engineers, product, and engineering to design tailored solutions.
• Build and manage a pipeline of strategic deals.
• Present to and communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and executive leaders, including developers, engineers, and C-suite decision makers.
• Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, pricing, and contract structures.

User Researcher

• Conduct up to five usability sessions per week using mockups, prototypes, or the live Runpod platform; facilitate sessions and observe user behavior.
• Attend sessions led by senior researchers and product managers; take detailed notes and learn interviewing, observation, and synthesis techniques.
• Deliver short debriefs immediately after sessions and produce comprehensive reports or presentations connecting user findings to product improvements.
• Share usability insights across teams and advocate for improvements that enhance the developer experience.
• Track usability findings against product outcomes to demonstrate impact on feature changes and platform improvements.
• Work closely with mentors to develop skills in program management, unbiased interviewing, research thinking, and modern AI-powered research techniques.
• By the end of the internship, design, recruit, conduct, analyze, and present a complete usability testing project independently with minimal oversight.
