Support the Landing Gear segment within the Advanced Structures Strategic Business Unit and oversee the health of the forging and raw material supply base
Lead both direct and cross-functional teams across global sites in Texas, Poland, and Oakville, Canada
Manage a team of Account Managers/Buyers responsible for procurement and supplier performance across commercial and military programs
Lead and manage the Supply Chain Operations Excellence team to identify supply risks, assess urgency and impact, and coordinate with internal stakeholders
Regularly collaborate with global suppliers and internal teams, particularly in Poland and Texas
Help shape the future direction of the forging and raw material commodity for the Landing Gear business
Continuously lead the organization through optimization and process improvements using change-management skills
Audit team's purchase orders for compliance, accuracy, and competitiveness and foster relationship with compliance team
Act as escalation point to mitigate delivery risks and barriers and drive supply chain strategy to reduce overdue and improve supplier performance
Travel to supplier and company facilities (30–50% travel; primarily Canada and Texas, occasional Poland)
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience in Supply Chain
Or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain
Prior leadership experience required
U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract)
Travel 30–50%, domestic and international
Prior experience maintaining compliance with government requirements on purchase orders (preferred)
Supply Chain experience within the Aerospace industry (preferred)
Experience with forging, casting, or raw material sourcing (preferred)
Knowledge of procurement compliance regulations and guidelines (preferred)
Understanding of logistics principles and practices (preferred)
Solid understanding of the overall business strategy and strong leadership/collaboration abilities
