About the role
- Work in a cleanroom environment
- Handle GaAs and GaN wafers
- Assist with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes
- Perform and document optical microscope inspections
- Perform scanning electron microscope imaging
- Perform failure analysis and data analysis
- Support wafer fabrication for compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications
- Collaborate with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) semiconductor foundry team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)
- Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret
