About the role
- Provide financial support to a portfolio of programs in direct support of Program Business Management within the LADS SBU and Product Support (MA&S) business area
- Be exposed to and trained in the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process for Sarbanes Oxley compliance and Annual Operating Plan preparation using the Business Planning (Rplan) system
- Utilize business software packages such as SAP/APEX and Business Warehouse to provide in-depth analysis for financial reporting of program funding profiles, bookings, sales and earnings outlook and forecast, billing projections, and variance analysis
- Provide financial support from startup phase (initial proposal support and costing) through Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) processing, baselining and budgetary creation, sales forecasting, cost control and analysis
- Work as an integrated part of a fast-paced finance team where multitasking, personal initiative, and the ability to learn processes quickly are required
- Receive exposure to Program Cost and Control, Financial Planning and Analysis, Proposal Process, and Budgets and Planning
- Onsite work preferred at McKinney, TX; may consider Andover, MA; support programs and teams across different time zones
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or related field
- Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with MS office (Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint)
- Experience with forecasting, variance analysis and/or budgeting
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
