About the role

  • Lead development, production, delivery, ship integration, technology insertion, change management and upgrades across the Polar Security Cutter (PSC), T-AO and AS(X) platforms
  • Responsible for quality, schedule, performance, and cost
  • Lead integrated product teams (IPTs) to coordinate functional support
  • Grow the business both domestically and internationally
  • Support Program and Corporate Program Management Excellence reviews and drive required actions to closure
  • Work cross-functionally in a matrix environment and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain and other functions
  • Manage transition to production, first-time builds, and technology insertions
  • Travel up to 50% to support shipyard and customer activities

Requirements

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: Secret - Current
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience
  • Prior Experience with Cost and Schedule Management
  • Prior Project/Program management experience
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a matrix environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% between San Diego, CA, Pascagoula, MS and other domestic shipyards
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues with cross-functional partners
  • Experience with shipyard execution or similar background (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for leadership, teamwork and customer relationships (preferred)
  • Capture Management Certification (preferred)
  • Experience in the contracting process including proposal preparation & negotiations, leadership briefings, and Risk/Opportunity Management (preferred)
  • Earned Value Management Certification (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience working with Navy Customers (preferred)
  • Experience with transition to production of new design, first time build, and tech insertions (preferred)
  • Experience managing multiple contracts (preferred)
  • 12+ years of experience to include leadership roles (preferred)
  • Raytheon Program Management Certification (Level 5) or equivalent or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire (preferred)
