About the role
- Work side by side with recognized industry experts on real-world assignments directly related to field of study
- Participate as a Technical Intern on project teams: ask questions, attend planning meetings, complete assignments as tasked by your team
- Receive mentoring and coaching; build technical foundation through practice and mentorship
- Learn fundamental business processes and procedures; participate in University Recruiting program including cross-functional workshops and meetings with leadership
- Summer internships typically 10-12 weeks starting late May/early June, average 40 hours/week; may be considered for full-time position upon graduation
Requirements
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented
- Pursuing a degree in engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
- Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance; adjudicative factors may include allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, criminal conduct, illegal drug use
