About the role
- Serve as Sr. Value Stream Manager for emerging and Autonomy programs within Proprietary Programs Autonomy Solutions portfolio
- Program Manager of one or more advanced Autonomy Programs
- Lead future autonomy captures and programs for growth
- Successfully execute contracted autonomy programs
- Develop strategy and Long Range Plan for assigned autonomy related programs
- Coordinate across other autonomy programs and opportunities to cultivate cross business unit pursuit opportunities
- Manage coordination and communication with government, primes and subcontractors for program content under executive direction
- Support pre-proposal shaping, proposal development, capture management, and cost volume generation for proposals and change packages
- Oversee program financial analysis, ETC methodologies, and advanced program IT/data transfer activities
Requirements
- 5-10 years of professional experience as a successful Program Manager
- Experience managing advanced technology development programs
- Experience managing challenging customers and evolving customer requirements
- Pre-proposal shaping, proposal development and capture management for advanced development and integration opportunities
- Experience leading and generating cost volumes for proposals and change packages
- Experience with advanced program IT systems and data transfers
- Experience with program financial analysis tools and ETC methodologies
- Ability to manage coordination and communication across RTX with government, prime and subcontractors under executive direction
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance)
- Typically requires University Degree (bachelor degree) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree and minimum 7 years of experience
- Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
- Preferred: Experience with US Air Force or US Navy customers, organizations and enabling technologies
- Preferred: Working knowledge of collaborative autonomy technology and programs
- Preferred: Experience working on advanced program industry Consortiums
- Preferred: Experience working on software development programs, Agile Development, and DevSecOps
- Preferred: Experience managing strategic IRAD projects
- Preferred: Experience with next generation air dominance programs, air dominance government customers, and primes/subcontractors
- Preferred: Cross BU campaign experience
- Preferred: Experience managing programs with International Governments
- Preferred: Experience working on U.S. Government Special Access Programs
