About the role
- Support the overhaul and repair process for Fan and High Compressor hardware across Pratt & Whitney’s family of Military Engines at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City.
- Perform as the onsite engineering liaison representing Pratt & Whitney to military customers.
- Support engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, the Component Improvement Program (CIP), and repair task activities.
- Provide assistance to Customer Support Engineering (CSE) and base personnel with field support, quality issues, and logistics planning.
- Work in a customer-facing role and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in meaningful intern projects to develop aerospace industry understanding and engineering skills.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required (U.S. citizen or U.S. Person/immigration status requirements).
- Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Preferably enrolled in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 60 credits completed towards a college degree by the start of the internship.
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience.
- Ability to work onsite at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City (Onsite role).
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required.
