About the role
- Support Manufacturing Engineers to execute producibility and cost of poor quality projects.
- Support development projects to meet customer commitments.
- Learn root cause and corrective action methods and apply them to solve manufacturing problems.
- Support Manufacturing Standard Work events to drive proper flow of parts through production cells.
- Update work instructions to ensure adherence to requirements.
- Work on the most complex engine components and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support new product introduction and hands-on problem solving with the team.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- At least 30 credits prior to starting your internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
- Ability to work onsite at the listed facility.
