• Stantec’s New England Transportation group is looking for a Civil Engineer - EIT in Auburn, NH.
• We are looking for a Civil Engineer - EIT with an interest in roadway design, site design, hydrology, hydraulics, utilities, and stormwater treatment. This entry-level position is for an individual that understands Civil Engineering design fundamentals from education, internship, co-op, or other work experience. This person will have a positive attitude, be a fast learner, and enjoy working in a team environment.
• What Will You Be Doing?
• As a Civil Engineer - EIT, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and diverse projects in the region and will be joining a growing team of transportation professionals and contribute to projects throughout New Hampshire and New England.
• Specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Use design software on a daily basis to support the design development process
• Prepare design calculations and quantity take-offs for construction cost estimates.
• Perform project research and analyze/present data in tabular or graphic format.
• Contribute to engineering reports and technical studies.
• Conduct field visits during the design development process.
• Attend client, agency, and public meetings to see the different phases of a project first-hand.
• Receive training and mentorship.
• Be a valued member of project teams.
