About the role
- Support aviation communication development needs for the GLOBALink communication system
- Comprehend customer Statements of Need and develop Technical Requirements
- Develop End-to-End System Designs between customers (internal and external) and communication services
- Analyze statements of need and business requirements
- Participate with highly technical engineering teams on systems upgrades and features
- Provide analysis for decomposition of customer specifications and system-level requirements into sub-system requirements and design
- Perform analysis of data flows and data logs
- Analyze system performance against parameters such as latency, availability, and capacity
- Develop technical product roadmaps to migrate from current state to targeted future state
- Work collaboratively onsite in the Annapolis, MD facility
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- Knowledge of the commercial aviation industry (preferred)
- Data analytical skills (preferred)
- Experience with engineering reliability and availability (preferred)
- Proven communication and collaboration skills to work across internal and external customers (government and commercial) (preferred)
