About the role
- Join the Hardware and Infrastructure Engineering Team supporting Connected Aviation business
- Support next generation Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems and existing fielded systems
- Work with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom hardware designs to meet system requirements
- Work with COTS components to design and integrate new capabilities into a larger system
- Verify functionality in laboratory environment and perform laboratory testing of COTS devices
- Troubleshoot and analyze test results; perform design verification and resolution of hardware issues
- Generate documentation and perform analyses and simulations
- Collaborate in a multi-discipline environment
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (preferred)
- Technical experience through prior internships (preferred)
- Familiar with Engineering design process
- Experience with lab test equipment such as multi-meters and oscilloscopes
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrated history of working well in a team environment
