Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with channel partners to accelerate and identify growth opportunities to exceed annual sales goals.
Represent Rockwell Automation's traditional automation portfolio, as well as our innovation offerings.
Focus on opportunistic pursuits, new business, conversion of new business, identifying and closing new contracts/deals.
Own the account strategy within selected accounts and communicate to extended teams on an account by account basis while collaborating with Channel Partners.
Establish strong relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base and understand customer process, goals and organizational models.
Follow the Rockwell Automation sales process: knows assigned accounts, plans for growth, maintains a healthy funnel, drives opportunities to closure and evaluates performance to goal.
Understand the industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers and trends) and the customer's organization and desired outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience
Legal authorization to work in the USA. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Valid driver's license
Typically requires 5+ year of sales experience selling through distributors or channel partners.
Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, channel sales or system integration.
Experience selling digital transformation solutions, IIOT and industry 4.0 offerings.
Ability to travel up to 50%
