Account Executive

• Own and deliver against revenue targets for an assigned territory and/or strategic account set
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth
• Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, from early opportunity shaping through negotiation and close
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders (CDO, CTO, CIO, VP Data), positioning Vertica as a strategic solution for data-driven transformation
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating Vertica’s technical capabilities (performance, scalability, cost efficiency) into measurable business value
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers to lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and solution positioning

• Lead cross-functional deal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to progress and close opportunities
• Leverage and develop partner and channel relationships (GSIs, VARs) to accelerate pipeline and expand market coverage
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast management in Salesforce, demonstrating strong forecasting discipline and deal inspection rigor
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, contributing to long-term account growth and referenceable customers

Solutions Engineer

• Provide services to customers
• Works on complex project scope with minimal direction from with Customer/SI nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.

Senior Customer Solutions Engineer

General Counsel

• Lead Rocket’s AI legal program, including advising on AI-related development, training data sourcing and licensing, AI-generated output ownership, algorithmic accountability, and compliance with applicable and emerging AI regulations and frameworks globally
• Serve as the dedicated legal partner to product management, engineering, and AI/ML teams, providing embedded legal support across the product development lifecycle
• Develop, implement, and maintain product governance frameworks, including policies and processes related to AI/ML product risk, data inputs and outputs, third-party model integrations, and regulatory compliance across key markets
• Advise on, draft, and negotiate complex technology agreements, including software license agreements, AI and data licensing arrangements, and strategic technology partnerships
• Support and lead IP and product counsel workstreams in M&A transactions and other strategic corporate transactions, including due diligence, risk assessment, deal structuring, and post-closing integration matters
• Advise on OSS strategy in the context of AI and product development
• Oversee export control compliance as it relates to Rocket's software products, including encryption classification requirements, and advise on export control considerations in product development, AI deployments, and international transactions

• Take on leadership of matters and workstreams across the full scope of the IP and product legal function as needed, and drive cross-functional process improvement, compliance program development, and legal policy initiatives
• Advise senior leadership on legal, IP, and product considerations in proposed acquisitions, divestitures, and investments, including AI-specific diligence and integration risk
• Monitor, analyze, and advise on developments in AI law and regulation, data privacy, open source, and other technology-related legal areas that affect Rocket's products and business, and proactively translate regulatory developments into actionable guidance
• Develop and deliver legal training and educational resources to product, engineering, and business teams on AI governance, IP, OSS, and technology law topics to build legal literacy and scalable compliance practices across the organization.

Systems Engineer

• Develop and operate Ansible playbooks and workflows to automate the provisioning and lifecycle management of virtualized systems.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across automation, Linux systems, virtualization platforms, and infrastructure components.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including runbooks, architecture diagrams, operating procedures, and automation standards.
