About the role

  • When you join the Valuation practice within our Financial Advisory (FA) segment, you will be part of a team working hand-in-hand with our clients to prepare complex valuation analysis and financial models to address a range of reporting and strategic requirements.
  • Our practice partners with clients to navigate strategic business initiatives and financial reporting matters associated with transformative business growth or events – such as a carve-out, IPO, merger and acquisitions.
  • At its core, the work we do in FA is driven by change, which means the projects are dynamic in nature and the impact of your work will be highly visible.
  • As a Director in Riveron’s Valuation practice, you will be the lead for consulting engagements. Directors are expected to conduct the majority of day-to-day project management activities on all their engagements, including project plan development, reviewing staff work for quality, status updates to clients and internal management, and mentoring of staff and senior consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, applied mathematics, financial engineering, or other related field
  • CFA, FRM, or PRM certified
  • 10+ years of experience in valuations, leveraged finance, banking or risk management in a consulting/advisory role, preferably Big 4
  • Experience building and utilizing mathematical models for valuing complex financial instruments, including option pricing, monte carlo simulations and lattice models.
  • Extensive knowledge of private investments and capital markets
  • Proven ability to manage project workflows and deliver in a timely manner
  • Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials
  • Experience with supervising diverse teams, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation while developing trust
  • Experience with coaching staff, providing meaningful written and verbal feedback
  • Strong commitment to identifying and addressing client needs and building, maintaining, and utilizing client networks and community involvement
