💰 £40,000 - £45,000 per year
About the role
- Manage relationships with clients (existing and prospective) and act as trusted strategic partner
- Identify opportunities to grow client accounts and increase impact, working collaboratively with internal teams and senior management
- Manage clients’ budgets effectively and look to maximise profit margins
- Deliver first class service, exceeding client expectations
- Delegate tasks to internal teams and keep activities running to schedule
- Develop and maintain a client call schedule and keep relevant people up to date
- Lead client meetings, prepare slides and materials on time
- Spot and propose improvements to client delivery processes and efficiencies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring retention targets are met
- Develop and implement strategies to grow client base and identify new business opportunities
- Lead client/agency relationships with senior stakeholders and look after key accounts and their revenue
- Support Client Services Director as escalation point for Senior Account Managers and deputise when needed
- Maintain SLAs for efficient communication and meeting deadlines
- Chair calls and meetings with prospective clients or internal teams, sharing agendas and contact reports
- Conduct document briefings and final reviews before client distribution
- Keep client/agency documentation up to date (WIPs, roadmaps)
- Identify upsell opportunities and facilitate related conversations
- Manage contracts from negotiation to sign off and update CRM with cross-selling opportunities
- Report on client satisfaction and identify continuous improvement actions
- Join pitches and assist on new business activities where required
Requirements
- Relationship-focused and expert in building strong relationships
- Excellent writing, client management and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset with understanding of client budgets and internal profitability
- Time management, negotiation and sales skills
- Ability to identify service efficiencies and spot growth opportunities
- Eye for detail
- Able to work autonomously
- Experience in a senior Client Services (or equivalent) role (5 years minimum experience)
- Passion for digital and sound understanding of multiple areas of digital marketing (SEO, Content and social)
- Excellent communicator with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
