- Rillet serves finance teams with accounting software that delivers speed, accuracy, and insight.
- Founding People Operations Lead to establish and scale the people function from the ground up.
- Build foundational HR infrastructure including policies, performance systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through performance management and career development.
- Partner with leadership to develop compensation philosophy, job leveling, and equity frameworks that scale with growth.
- Drive culture and engagement initiatives while maintaining compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Remote-first role with a preference for candidates within commuting distance of New York City or San Francisco for in-person collaboration when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a senior HR business partner or people operations role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices across multiple states/jurisdictions
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and prioritize initiatives that drive maximum impact for scaling organizations
- Experience with HR technology stack including HRIS, ATS, performance management, and benefits administration platforms
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence and advise leadership while maintaining confidentiality and building trust across all levels of the organization
- Proven track record building HR functions at early-stage companies with experience scaling teams from 20-100+ employees preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
