About the role
- Salesforce Development Manager to lead our Salesforce development team and drive innovation across our CRM ecosystem
- Player-coach role—lead teams and contribute directly to technical execution
- Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce administrators
- Architect scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals
- Oversee development, customization, and integration of Salesforce applications
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and API integrations
- Lead team members from stakeholder management to solution design and release
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Finance
- Contribute to work sizing, scoping activities, and release planning
- Implement robust change management and release processes
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal and external standards
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on Salesforce capabilities and roadmap
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning, and integrations
- 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven experience driving hands-on execution in technical Salesforce domains while simultaneously providing strategic direction and people leadership
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or equivalent)
- Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
