About the role
- Lead the analysis and reverse engineering of the current legacy financial application to understand system architecture, data models, and workflows
- Define the technical strategy and architecture for recreating the application within Salesforce, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Design high-level and detailed technical solutions, including data migration, integration, security, and customization strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and implementation teams
- Develop and review complex Apex code, Lightning components, Visualforce, and integrations
- Ensure the technical integrity, performance, and security of the delivered solution
- Oversee deployment, testing, and troubleshooting activities
- Document technical architecture, processes, and migration strategies
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives with technical expertise
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a focus on solutions architecture and development
- Multiple Salesforce certifications, including Advanced or Architect certifications preferred
- Extensive experience in reverse engineering legacy financial systems and building robust Salesforce solutions
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, and integration frameworks
- Proven track record of designing scalable and secure architectures for complex enterprise applications
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate independently, guiding technical teams and influencing project outcomes
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Financial Services Cloud and financial data compliance
- Expertise in API design, middleware, ETL, and other integration technologies
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
