About the role

  • Manage the commercial function towards achieving sustainable profitability and revenue growth, with full P&L ownership for business verticals, including casino and sportsbook
  • Develop and execute acquisition marketing strategies across affiliates, ATL, and digital channels
  • Create and implement a comprehensive retention plan with automated life cycles and tailored customer journeys
  • Management of the sites for Finland along with testing of all possible user journeys
  • Develop and manage VIP services, collaborating with the VIP managers to ensure top-tier customer service
  • Coordinate with the operational and payments teams to optimize collaboration with Rhino
  • Monitor key cost KPIs, including marketing spend and bonus costs, to drive ROI.
  • Create, communicate and execute a commercial strategy that supports a well-differentiated brand proposition, enhancing the products’ position in the market
  • Establish tactical plans for the business, driving revenue growth, and setting KPIs linked to this growth
  • Lead, drive, coach, and develop a large team, to deliver on shared goals.
  • Develop and articulate comprehensive regional commercial strategies, ensuring alignment with the overall brand proposition and enhancing market share
  • Take ownership of revenue generation, devising methods to measure and enhance performance against key financial indicators
  • Lead forecasting initiatives for Finland, setting informed financial goals and supervising budget planning to optimize resources
  • Engage in meticulous research to put together market-specific roadmaps, ensuring they are backed by solid business cases and in line with business objectives.
  • Assist in the application process for the Finnish licence
  • Operate one or more brands on the Finnish licence taking into account regulatory frame work
  • Travel to meet with key media partners, agencies and attend worldwide events across the globe as required.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Finnish both written and verbal communication
  • Proven experience in a similar commercial leadership role within the iGaming industry or with online casino / sportsbook platforms
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems skills
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Prior experience managing and developing high-performing teams across diverse regions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An innovative mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to navigate and work well in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field would be considered an asset
