About the role
- Manage projects requiring engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Contract and relationship management
- Prepare and present information to win new bids
- Manage large-scale, externally focused projects and projects producing output from scrum engineering teams
- Manage complex dependencies across multiple squads and cross-functional areas
- Partner with project stakeholders to resolve issues, adapt plans and mitigate project impacts
- Present complex project information at a high level to senior executive audiences
- Drive value across high-priority initiatives and foster collaboration between Product, Technology, and Data teams within an agile environment
- Hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office in London or Southampton
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programmes within a global technology organisation
- Emotional intelligence and ability to adapt beyond conventional project management methodologies
- Experience managing large scale, externally focused projects
- Contract / relationship management experience
- Experience preparing and presenting information to win new bids
- Experience managing projects that require output from scrum engineering teams
- Experience managing complex dependencies across multiple squads and cross functional areas
- Ability to partner with stakeholders to resolve issues, adapt plans and mitigate impacts
- Experience presenting complex project information to senior executive audiences
- Ability to manage project financials, tracking forecasts and actuals
- Ability to adapt project management approaches to suit initiative needs
- Champion continuous improvement and value-driven delivery
- Strong collaboration, conflict resolution and stakeholder relationship skills
- Leadership experience including line management responsibilities
