About the role

  • Drive customer specification and preference for Regal Rexnord products in assigned territory
  • Advocate for End User customers and preferred distributors to solve application problems and maximize uptime
  • Sell directly to certain OEM customers to obtain specification of products for use on their equipment
  • Develop and implement a territory coverage and growth strategy
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers, Area Account Managers, and Inside Sales to drive business growth
  • Capture customer expectations and communicate them to Sales and Product Management teams
  • Educate and train customers on features, benefits and ROI of Regal Rexnord Products and Services
  • Identify and foster new accounts including OEMs, end users, and integrators
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource and respond to ongoing customer questions
  • Support trade shows and distributor open houses as necessary
  • Learn market share and product visibility and employ technical sales expertise to package solutions
  • Develop relationships with distributors to increase sales and market share
  • Manage time effectively for territory planning, account development, and follow-up

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years in outside sales (Conveyance Sales preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with employees and customers at all levels
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must reside within the sales territory and be willing to travel up to 50%
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization
