About the role
- Establish the financial foundation of the company, enabling efficient scaling and partnering with leadership to drive strategic decision-making.
- Own core finance processes including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, expense management, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
- Partner with leadership to manage financial models, scenario analyses, and KPIs guiding company strategy and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and financial regulations and implement strong internal controls.
- Evaluate and implement finance tools/systems to support company growth.
- Prepare materials for fundraising, board meetings, and investor updates.
Requirements
- +7 years in finance roles at high-growth startups or top-tier finance/consulting firms.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable finance operations.
- Excellent modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfort balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Passion for AI/LLMs.
