About the role

  • Deepen and expand relationships with our partners to drive renewals and find new revenue opportunities.
  • Take full ownership of the post-sale partner lifecycle for our most valuable accounts, from a seamless onboarding process to long-term account health and successful renewal.
  • Develop, negotiate, and close complex expansion and renewal agreements that create significant value for both Reddit and our partners.
  • Act as the primary liaison between our partners and Reddit's internal teams, including Legal, Privacy, Finance, and Tax, to ensure deals are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and pursue select new business opportunities to further grow Reddit's data licensing business.
  • Proactively address partner challenges and find creative solutions, navigating the complexities of a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
  • Contributing to broader business development initiatives, including strategic and product partnerships, as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships or strategic business development, primarily within the data licensing industry.
  • Deep understanding of the data licensing landscape, API infrastructure.
  • Comprehensive experience managing the full partner lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on post-deal relationship management, renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • A natural ability to context-switch and manage priorities for multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven tenacity and a results-driven approach to solving problems in complex and ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with a variety of teams inside a company.
