About the role

  • Continuously network and generate high number of leads, supported by a BDR
  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy focused on acquiring new partners and expanding existing relationships within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding partnership targets and sales quotas.
  • Qualify deals, negotiate agreements, and close deals that align with company objectives.
  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, with clear accountability for pipeline conversion and deal velocity.
  • Support the development of sales enablement material, working closely with product marketing
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful and seamless implementation and delivery of partnership commitments.
  • Identify upsell/cross sell opportunities and support contracting related to the expansion services for existing clients
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and product/service enhancements.
  • Track and manage pipeline activities in HubSpot, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand the company's presence within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Travel to clients, conferences and prospects across the globe (up to 60% of the time)

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Science, Healthcare (Bachelor's degree considered with strong experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, or sales roles, with a strong focus on contracting and closing deals within the pharmaceutical industry
  • An existing network within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within clinical development, clinical operations, and pre-approval access space.
  • Consistent and proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of clinical development: clinical trials and/or expanded access programs (preferred)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle, from early lead generation to contract negotiation and post-deal expansion.
  • The ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional initiatives.
