About the role
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ramp’s card issuing and billing platforms
- Lead a core team of engineers and designers to build products that serve thousands of businesses
- Drive end-to-end product vision, strategy, and execution to meet ambitious company goals
- Partner and collaborate across various internal teams and stakeholders
- Deliver financial products to streamline complex business flows via a fantastic user experience
- Match customer understanding with business goals to deliver great products and experiences
- Expand product capabilities to help thousands of finance teams manage their finances
- Leverage data and customer feedback to iterate and evolve product offerings
- Contribute to the vision, strategy, and processes that grow the product management function
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Cursor and Bolt to accelerate development
- Stay plugged into AI research, industry trends, and emergent applications to apply creatively to Ramp’s product
Requirements
- BA/BS in a technical or analytical field
- Minimum 3 years of product management experience
- Strong customer empathy and design thinking
- Fluency in data and how to make data-driven product decisions
- Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers & designers toward a common goal
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects, and staying current on research and tools.
- Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git.
- Background in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments (nice-to-have)
- Experience building payments products or products in regulated markets (nice-to-have)
- Experience building products with a significant AI component, especially if leveraging LLMs (nice-to-have)
