About the role

  • Ramp is a financial operations platform combining payments, corporate cards, vendor management, procurement, travel booking, and automated bookkeeping with AI
  • Shape vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-native products serving thousands of businesses
  • Lead a core team of engineers and designers and drive end-to-end product execution
  • Balance customer insights with technical possibilities to craft intuitive user experiences
  • Prototype rapidly using tools like Cursor and Bolt to accelerate development
  • Stay plugged into AI research, industry trends, and emergent applications
  • Contribute to evolution of Ramp's product management practices as AI scales across the platform
  • Role requires being comfortable working in-person at NYC or SF offices at least 2 days/week

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or related)
  • Minimum 4 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience
  • Passion for AI, shown through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects
  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g. Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code) and comfort with design/collaboration environments like Figma and Git
  • Strong customer empathy and design thinking
  • Fluency in data and experimentation, including designing and interpreting evals for AI/agentic product
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to lead small, cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • (Nice-to-have) Experience building AI products
  • (Nice-to-have) Experience in high-growth startups
  • (Nice-to-have) Experience building in financial, enterprise, or other domains requiring complex systems thinking.
