Accountant

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure expenses are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
• Assist with annual 1099 reporting and W-9 maintenance.
• Prepare and post monthly accruals and other recurring journal entries.
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for assigned accounts.
• Assist with monthly close activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with actual to budget variance analysis and financial statement review.
• Support annual financial statement audit process.
• Assist with process improvement and other accounting initiatives.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.
• Reconcile cash receipts between billing system, bank activity, and the general ledger.
• Partner with internal teams to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash items.

• Serve as the strategic point of contact and relationship owner for customers within our core market account segment
• Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, build and forecast a robust expansion pipeline, and achieve quarterly and annual expansion quotas
• Own and drive renewals, retention and adoption for assigned accounts
• Meet and exceed sales performance goals
• Be self-motivated with high energy and drive to succeed every day
• Conduct regular business reviews and proactively engage with customers to identify and execute on opportunities that continually increase the value they get from Raken
• Increase customer product awareness by building credibility within each of your accounts, operating as a thought leader, and building and executing strategic account plans
• Be a problem solver - manage escalations with urgency and seek to solve customer issues in a thorough, outcome driven manner
• Identify at risk customers and deliver solutions to mitigate churn risk
• Be your customer’s champion, collaborating with Sales, Product and Onboarding teams to share feedback and ensure customer needs are heard

• Full-Cycle New Business, Expansion and Retention sales into Raken’s Upmarket Customer Category
• Prospect and engage with potential customers via both outbound sales and inbound lead processes
• Follows Raken sales process and methodology as instructed
• Hits and exceeds sales quota in designated strategic customer accounts and new business accounts
• Establishes, maintains, and uncovers new productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
• Coordinates the involvement of Raken company personnel, including customer success and product and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Record strong level of CRM detail and organization regarding the status of your accounts and opportunities
• Scheduling/Providing discovery and qualification calls, followed by product demonstrations and follow-up meetings
• Monitor customer usage of Raken and provide best practice recommendations
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly meetings with sales team
• Represent our organization at trade shows, conferences, and events
