Answer questions during registration and build trust by listening with compassion
Work on computers and answer phones to collect details across multiple screens and programs
Type and input information accurately and quickly between physician and nurse check-ins
Work around clinicians interrupting the registration process for emergent clinical care
Assist patients who may be very ill or worried, asking follow-up questions and building rapport
Fast-paced, often on your feet assisting patients to complete their registration
Collect patient and insurance information and learn health plan/coverage variations through training
Collaborate with the team and support career progression within R1 RCM Inc.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent customer service experience
Must be up to date on all vaccinations
Must pass a drug test prior to hire
Must pass a background check prior to hire
Comfortable working on computers and answering phones to intake information in a busy environment
Ability to type quickly and multitask across multiple programs and screens
Prepared to see illness and injuries in a hospital/lab environment
Confident multi-tasker, quick study with technology, and able to listen with compassion
