About the role
- Manage denials, accounts receivable, and front-end billing for multiple clients handling large inventory
- Perform initial reviews and approve and review cases for external appeal and outpatient billing
- Review, draft, and approve complex and contractual appeals and letters to insurance companies
- Assist in training to ensure reimbursement analysts resolve, call, and/or appeal defined number of accounts
- Manage daily workloads of Operations Support Department staff
- Enlist Provider Representatives to resolve complex claim and appeal issues
- Audit and review client status reports and provide feedback to leadership (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Develop employees and collaborate closely with domestic and global teams
Requirements
- Strong leadership mindset
- Skilled in MS Excel and other business reporting tools
- Comfortable working with accounts receivable and front-end billing within a multi-hospital client organization
- Experience managing large inventory and a team
- Ability to collaborate with domestic and global teams
- Heavy background in accounts receivable in a specialized area of cancer, infusions, or chemotherapy (preferred)
- Epic and Meditech experience (preferred)
