About the role

  • Develop short-form, conversion-focused content for multiple clients, including marketing emails, sales sheets, web copy, slide decks, social posts, and other branding and sales-focused copy.
  • Write, edit, and proofread copy for emails, web pages, marketing materials, one-pagers, slide decks, social posts, and ads.
  • Create engaging and impactful copy that resonates with the client’s audience and drives action.
  • Develop and refine content for multiple channels, ensuring each piece is tailored for its specific medium.
  • Collaborate with the client’s marketing and product teams to align messaging and goals and work directly with clients on video calls.
  • Research and develop a working knowledge of subject matter through additional research and self-education as needed.
  • Ensure all written deliverables are edited, proofread, client-ready with minimal need for revisions and optimized to brand guidelines, style, tone, and grammar.
  • Manage projects and deadlines, communicate closely with Quatrain leadership on projects.
  • Assess source material (from interviews, existing verbiage, or basic outlines) and strategize effective presentation of key messages.

Requirements

  • Experienced B2B-focused copywriter capable of short-form, conversion-focused content.
  • Good grasp of technical concepts and ability to translate complex and unfamiliar information into clear copy.
  • Experience writing marketing emails, sales sheets, web copy, slide decks, social posts, and other marketing and sales-focused copy.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and web traffic metrics.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (essential).
  • Strong project management, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and collaborating on video calls.
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to details.
  • Experience learning and writing about new or complex topics.
  • Preferred: At least 3-5 years of working experience as a B2B copywriter in an agency setting.
  • Preferred: Ability to expertly lead client calls and nurture client relationships.
  • Preferred: Experience with keyword placement and SEO best practices; writing for senior executive audiences.
  • Preferred: Previous experience with B2B SaaS, cloud tech, or Gen AI.
