Technical Project Manager

• Own the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
• Build detailed project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, resource alignment, and measurable outcomes
• Define and manage scope, schedule, and budget with disciplined change control
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives without compromising delivery quality
• Ensure successful transition from delivery to operations, including training and support readiness
• Lead cross-functional teams across IT and business units (Finance, HR, Operations, etc.)
• Facilitate structured requirements gathering and process mapping with documented, approved outputs
• Translate business needs into system-driven solutions aligned with technical delivery
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes
• Drive UAT planning and execution with active stakeholder accountability
• Coordinate cutover planning, data validation, and go-live readiness
• Hold IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners accountable using objective delivery metrics
• Review and challenge technical delivery plans, integration approaches, and timeline estimates with a strong understanding of enterprise systems
• Identify risks early (data, integration, environment, dependencies) and drive resolution
• Escalate issues clearly with recommended solutions
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards and delivery practices
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes
• Deliver clear, honest, executive-level status updates
• Lead steering committee meetings focused on decision-making and progress
• Manage vendor relationships and enforce delivery expectations
• Negotiate scope, timeline, and resource trade-offs transparently
• Maintain a prioritized risk and issue register with clear ownership
• Proactively manage and communicate project risks and schedule changes
• Lead structured change management with full impact analysis
• Ensure stakeholders are never surprised by project status
• Establish and enforce consistent project governance and reporting standards
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and IT operating practices
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement
• Contribute to PMO maturity (templates, estimation practices, lessons learned)
