About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) training programs across the QC Ecosystem.
- Create and deliver engaging, technically accurate training programs focused on construction safety, electrical safety, commissioning activities, regulatory compliance, and workforce competency.
- Develop curricula, instructor-led training, eLearning content, presentations, competency evaluations, and certification programs that support a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and client-specific requirements.
- Partner closely with the Safety Compliance Coordinator and report to the Director of Safety to ensure all training materials, qualification standards, and competency programs remain current, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct classroom instruction, facilitate virtual instructor-led training, and deliver field-based practical learning experiences.
- Track certifications and renewal requirements, administer the Learning Management System (LMS), and evaluate course effectiveness through metrics, assessments, and participant feedback.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Safety, Engineering, Education, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience and certifications considered.
- 8–10 years of progressive safety experience.
- 5+ years developing and delivering safety training programs.
- Experience in construction safety and electrical safety environments.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
- Experience creating presentations, training materials, and learning content for technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of: OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, Electrical commissioning, Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, Safety Risk Assessment, Human Performance Improvement (HPI), Competency-based learning.
- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills.
- Experience with: Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Articulate Storyline/Rise, Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
