Conduct thorough market research and analysis for the assigned Tech category to align commercial strategy with market opportunities
Monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
Take ownership of the assigned product category: determine product mix, implement pricing policies, and manage stock supply to ensure optimal inventory levels
Regularly evaluate and adjust product offerings based on market dynamics and performance analysis
Cultivate and develop professional relationships with internal and external partners, including suppliers
Engage in effective communication to align strategies and negotiate offers with internal teams and external suppliers
Negotiate offers and oversee the procurement process for products from internal and external suppliers, ensuring favorable terms
Promote products across commercial channels, including physical stores, e-commerce platforms, and call centers
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional strategies
Participate in corporate merchandising policy and supervise implementation across commercial channels
Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to support development and adjustment of pricing policies
Generate comprehensive reports covering purchases, sales, profitability, stock levels, supplier performance, training initiatives, and promotions for the assigned product category
FMCG/field merchandising experience will be valued and applied to category management activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the purchasing department of a commercial company
Experience in the retail industry is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (XLS) for data analysis and reporting
Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written & oral

FMCG prior experience, especially field/merchandiser experience, highly appreciated
